Various aspects influence the production of quality seed. A favourable climate is particularly vital for cultivation. For complete control over seed production, Bejo produces all its seed under its own management, in areas with the best climatic conditions. Expert growers in countries including Australia, France, Italy, Netherlands and the U.S.A produce seeds for Bejo.
| Each seed lot is subjected to a long post-harvest process of cleaning and quality inspections. Many seeds are subsequently processed into unique product forms which include protection against fungal diseases and insects and give excellent germination quality. The most important product forms are Bejo Basis coating, Bejo Precision, Bejo Precision with special insecticide coating, primed seed and pelleted seed.
