Manzu is the first fresh market beet with intermediate resistance to Rhizomania (IR: BNYVV). With an upright foliage, Manzu has an intense deep red colour and a sweet taste, as well as a high level of content matter including good levels of betanin, dry matter and brix. A key selling point for most growers is its suitability for industrial use, fresh market and storage.
