The world has been impacted severely by the corona virus. At Bejo, we continue to do all that is possible to contain the spread of the virus. We have taken unprecedented measures throughout our global distribution network to safeguard the health and safety of our employees, customers, and communities. Our operational priority is to ensure the continuity of our primary business processes. We are well aware that production and distribution of vegetable seeds has to be maintained. This ensures that you can continue with your growing activities, and thus securing consumers access to healthy vegetables.

I would like to share with you the below measures we have taken to date at Bejo locations around the world. Given the fluidity of the situation, we are following the news closely and adjusting our protocols locally when necessary.

Measures at our locations
We have taken the usual and well-known hygiene measures and taken care that contact by employees will be kept to a minimum level. We implemented working from home where possible, minimal occupancy of working spaces, spreading of working hours, keeping minimum distances among employees.

Visitors
We limit visitors to our premises as much as possible, and always make sure that visitors are well informed about our hygiene measures.

Events
We will not hold any customer and internal employee events as long as this corona situation demands the utmost caution. For this reason we have canceled our Open Days in The Netherlands which is taking place each year in September. We will do our utmost to inform our customers about our developments, assortment and new varieties through alternative ways.

Orders and continuity of delivery of seed
Seed orders are delivered from many Bejo locations around the world. Overall, our local warehouses are well supplied with seeds of the varieties that you use in your region. Therefore, please place your orders as you are used to. We closely follow the developments with respect to national and international transport, and will do our utmost to continue distributing seed from and to destined locations.

Visit by our representatives
In many countries, depending on the intensity of the corona virus, our representatives are currently working from home. They will remain in contact with you, and only visit on site when absolutely necessary and after agreement with you.

All together we will do our utmost to limit the spread of the corona virus during these exceptional times, and continue to provide communities with healthy vegetables. You can count on our support.

I wish you all good health and strength.
